CMG AGM

Great turnout for our AGM in Chacewater with nearly 60 people joining us for a lovely lunch prepared by Mary and served by her kitchen crew. After plenty of chat we sat down for the AGM. Dave reviewed last year’s events and the plans for the coming year, Kelly outlined our finances and Kate presented the annual CMG Award to Tony Atkinson in recognition of all the work he has done around mammals in Cornwall especially bats, otters and recording, over the years. Tony was presented with the Award and a voucher donated by The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Our guest speaker was Rupert Kirkwood a.k.a. The Lone Kayaker who gave a riveting illustrated talk of his travels around the coast and rivers of the Southwest in search of wildlife.
