

Seal Sanctuary Local Conservation Event
The Seal Sanctuary in Gweek invited a host of local and national conservation groups to spend a weekend raising awareness of local work. We were joined by other wildlife charities and sanctuaries, as well as our pair of harvest mice! Thanks to everyone who came to the seal sanctuary over that weekend, hopefully we inspired them to look for wildlife at home, as well as at the sanctuary.


BioBlitz Tremough
We had a brilliant day at BioBlitz Tremough, despite the rain. BioBlitzes are a great way to raise public awareness of the wonders of nature in the local area, and the Victorian gardens of the Tremough campus did not disappoint. Mammal surveys, bird ringing, pond dipping and owl pellet dissections were among the many activities on the day, and turned up a variety of species. Cornwall Mammal Group were joined by Operation Hedgehog and the Cornwall Beaver Project, as well as li
