Cull of the Wild - Hugh Warwick
Hugh Warwick - ecologist, author, photographer and hedgehog icon, joined us at Duchy College Stoke Climsland for a talk about his new book Cull of the Wild. Pine Marten talk
Dan Brown, the Dartmoor field officer for the Two Moors Pine Marten Project run through the Devon Wildlife Trust came down into Bandit Country (aka Bodmin) to talk to 60 of us at Lanhydrock Memorial Hall. Dan gave an engaging and compelling presentation covering the history of the pine marten in the southwest and the reasons behind the reintroductions that have taken place in Wales, the Forest of Dean and now Exmoor and Dartmoor, helping this beautiful mustelid to return to i


2025/26 Harvest Mouse Surveys
The 2025/26 season of Harvest Mouse Surveys is almost complete! So far this season, we've had 254 records from 61 site surveys. This puts about 1260 new records across the 5-season survey, including incidental records, barn owl pellets and camera traps. More info, including Dave Groves' infamous yearly report, coming soon. A joint survey effort by Devon and Cornwall Mammal Groups in Dartmoor.
