Kensey Valley

Dave Groves, CMG Committee Member led 5 CMG members on a mammal survey of this small farm, aiming to confirm and extend local mammal records. Using a combination of tube traps, Trail camera and field sign surveys we collected records for wood mice (in the traps), rabbits (in the camera and from droppings and evidence of warrens), badger (from setts and signs of feeding), dormice, bank vole, and field vole (all from feeding signs), mole (from mole hills!), grey squirrel and common rat (seen) and roe deer (from tracks).
